THIS IS A REPRESENTATIVE COMMUNICATION SENT TO VEHICLE MANUFACTURERS. A LIMITED NUMBER OF ENGINES SHIPPED FROM CUMMINS WITH RELAXED EGR VALVE HOSE CLAMPS THAT COULD POSSIBLY CAUSE A LEAK AND SOOT DEPOSITS. CUMMINS REPLACED THE HOSE CLAMPS ON THE SUSPECT ENGINES.
