THIS TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN DESCRIBES THE TROUBLESHOOTING AND REPAIR STEPS TO ADDRESS SYMPTOMS OF HIGH PITCHED WHINING NOISE FROM THE ENGINE GEAR TRAIN THAT CHANGES WITH ENGINE RPM. THIS CONDITION MAY BE CAUSED BY CRANKSHAFT GEAR TEETH THAT ARE OUT OF SPECIFICATION AND MAY BE ADDRESSED BY REPLACING THE CRANKSHAFT GEAR. THIS IS AN UPDATED VERSION OF A PREVIOUSLY RELEASED BULLETIN.
