"FLASH: TRANSMISSION SHIFT AND DRIVABILITY ENHANCEMENTS THIS BULLETIN INVOLVES REPROGRAMMING OF THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE \(TCM\) WITH THE LATEST AVAILABLE SOFTWARE. SYMPTOM/CONDITION: CUSTOMERS MAY EXPERIENCE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING SYMPTOMS: · HANGING OR DELAYED UPSHIFT WHEN BRAKING DOWNHILL OR WHEN BRAKING AFTER HIGH VEHICLE ACCELERATION RATE. · RELEASING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL RAPIDLY CAUSES HANGING OR DELAYED UPSHIFT. \*\*UPDATING THE TCM SOFTWARE WILL CORRECT THE CONDITIONS LISTED ABOVE AND ALSO IMPROVE SHIFT QUALITY FOR A 2\-1 DOWNSHIFT \(LA VEHICLE\).\*\*"
