COMBINED TSB/SERVICE ACTION: MIL ON WITH DTC C1212 - LOGIC IMPROVEMENT (SA216) - THIS BULLETIN PROVIDES INFORMATION RELATED TO THE ECM SOFTWARE UPGRADE OF SOME 2014~2015MY FORTE (YD), PRODUCED FROM DECEMBER 7, 2013 TO APRIL 16, 2015, AND SOME 2014MY SPORTAGE (SL) VEHICLES, PRODUCED FROM APRIL 4, 2013 THROUGH JUNE 18, 2014, WHICH MAY EXHIBIT A MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHT (MIL) ON WITH DTC C1212. TO APPLY THE IMPROVED LOGIC, THE ECM SHOULD BE REPROGRAMMED USING THE GDS/KDS DOWNLOAD, AS DESCRIBED IN THIS BULLETIN.
