THIS TEMPORARY REPAIR PRACTICE IS BEING ISSUED TO ADDDRESS PLUGGING OF EGR COOLERS AND EGR VALVES RESULTING IN FC1896 AND/OR FC3382 ON CERTAIN ISL ENGINES IN TRANSIT BUS APPLICATIONS. THIS TRP AUTHORIZES THE REPLACEMENT OF PISTONS AND VALVE STEM SEALS, AND IF REQUIRED, UPDATING THE ECM CALIBRATION. THIS IS AN UPDATE TO A PREVIOUSLY RELEASED COMMUNICATION.
