ALL FUEL STORAGE MODULES \(FSMS\) MUST BE ISOLATED FROM DIRECT AND INDIRECT HEAT SOURCES. THE INSULATION KIT PROVIDES EXTRA PROTECTION AGAINST HEAT CONCERNS WHEN APPLIED TO A HEAT SHIELD. IN SOME CASES, THE INSTALLED LOCATION OF THE FSM MAY BE TOO CLOSE TO A HEAT SOURCE.
