## NHTSA's summary

A change in the specifications for the side access ladder \(refer to Figure 1\) resulted in the possibility that the ladder can separate from the track under certain conditions. Altec requires that the affected units be inspected for the dimension between pins on the end of the ladder. The inspection procedure begins on Page 2. If the dimension fails to meet the specification on the instruction, a replacement ladder must be ordered.
