Bosch aftertreatment diesel exhaust fluid \(def\) dosing pump with unidentified fluid at seams. Aftertreatment diesel exhaust fluid \(DEF\) dosing units have been incorrectly identified as failed after finding what was thought to be a DEF leak. This document is to communicate that an oily substance near the seams of the Bosch® aftertreatment DEF dosing unit is normal and does not indicate a malfunction has occurred.
