## NHTSA's summary

ENGINE IDLE SHUTDOWN TIMER \(EIST\) OVERRIDES POWER TAKEOFF MODE \(PTO\). When operating in PTO mode, vehicle shuts down after five minutes. New engine parameter incompatibility in MY2015B software \(P151C\) causes engine to use park mode engine idle shutdown timer in stationary PTO mode. Maximum engine run time in PTO mode with truck stationary is 5 minutes.
