NHTSA's summary
March 4, 2016 - Attachment updated with clarification that the VIN number or row must be clicked in order to populate the Fine Tune Vehicle on the VIDA screen. See attached instructions. With the VIDA update on Sunday February 21st, a change was implemented to the VIN readout routine. In the past, it was possible that the incorrect transmission type was being selected automatically by VIDA. This is related to the VIN structure for cars in our market.
