Service bulletin WIL2800135

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

System One used truck warranties are visible in the Service Portal Vehicle Summary page like any other service contract. Differences to be aware of are:  Start date, miles, and hours are not based upon original DTU date and miles. The start date, miles, and hours are based upon the date the used truck was purchased and the miles and hours the vehicle had at that time. See the Service Contract tab on the Vehicle summary page for contract expiration terms.  For repairs to Navistar engines and components, follow all Navistar Warranty iApprovals.  System One warranties may provide engine coverage on non‐Navistar engines (Cummins, Cat). o Non‐Navistar engines ‐ use engine manufacturer labor times, entered as a t‐time in iClaim. o Non‐Navistar parts ‐ claim in the miscellaneous section of iClaim at dealer cost, and attach purchase invoice. o For complete replacement of non‐Navistar engines under a Used Truck System One warranty, contact the Warranty Administration Group for preapproval. o Replacement of Non‐Navistar engines under System One warranties follow the same fixed engine handling allowance as the comparable Navistar engine. See WPL 12‐023G WIL2800135 - System One Warranties Page 1 of 2 https://evalue.
