Service bulletin #13

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

The rubber seals were implemented on trailer built beginning on March 2, 2016. As part of our Continuous Improvement efforts, Product Engineering has implemented a design change to the installation of the wiring & air line systems to reduce the chance of damage to these components either during installation or from vibration during use. The design improvement is the installation of a rubber edge seal, #034-58230, to either end of the tub rail. The new seal is a rubber extrusion with an adhesive backing and will form-fit, as shown below, to the inner surfaces of the tub rails.
