# Service bulletin TSB\-15\-0011

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- [SSM 52476](/bulletins/10254138.md), 2024-05-03, Service bulletin: EQUIPMENT. All accessory stick\-on keyless entry keypads come with a wallet card containing the master code. If the accessory keypad was factory installed, this card will be placed in the glove box and should be handed to the vehicles owner during initial delivery. Unlike the integrated \(wired\) factory keypad, the accessory keypad master code cannot be retrieved from the vehicle using a diagnostic scan tool. If the wallet card for an accessory keypad is lost, follow these steps to recover the code. Dealer Key Code access is granted through the Dealer Program Enrollment System \(DPES\); dealership management can authorize users. The authorized user must go to FMCDealer.com \> Parts and Service \> Parts Product Line Information \> Keys/Entry Devices \> Aftermarket Keyless Entry Keypad Code Access. Follow the instructions on the screen to obtain the master code for the accessory keypad.

- [TSB 20\-2307](/bulletins/10181917.md), 2020-11-05, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; WHEELS; EQUIPMENT. Some 2003\-2020 Expedition/Navigator and 2006\-2020 F\-150 vehicles equipped with TOD transfer cases may exhibit grinding/clicking/ratcheting noise from the front wheel area. This may be due to partial engagement of the integrated wheel ends \(IWE\). To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to remove and cap the vacuum supply line.
- [TSB 20\-2189](/bulletins/10176835.md), 2020-07-06, Service bulletin: EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL; EQUIPMENT. This article supersedes TSB 20\-2028 to update the description of Labor Operation D. Some 2013\-2018 F\-150/Expedition/Navigator vehicles equipped with 4\-wheel drive \(4WD\) may exhibit an intermittent grinding noise while driving in 2\-wheel drive \(2WD\) mode most commonly on acceleration. This may be due to a loss of vacuum to the integrated wheel end \(IWE\) actuators and/or wear of the IWE components. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to reprogram the transfer case control module \(TCCM\) and replace any worn vacuum and/or IWE components.
- [TSB\-20\-2028](/bulletins/10171859.md), 2020-03-03, Service bulletin: SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:POWER ASSIST:VACUUM; EQUIPMENT.
- [SSM 48070](/bulletins/10163573.md), 2019-08-07, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER. Some 2009\-2017 Expedition/Navigator, 2009\-2014 F\-150/Mustang, 2008\-2009 Sable, 2008\-2019 Taurus/Flex/MKT, 2013\-2019 Police Interceptor Sedan/Utility, and 2011\-2019 Explorer vehicles may exhibit inoperative or intermittent HVAC blower motor function at various fan speed settings. This may be due to a poor electrical connection at the blower motor speed control. If the blower motor speed control is determined to be the causal part, replacement of the electrical connector pigtail harness \(14S411\) to the blower motor speed control is also recommended to avoid repeat repairs. Use pigtail harness service part numbers 3U2Z\-14S411\-ZEA or CU2Z\-14S411\-FA, as both parts are interchangeable. Refer to Wiring Diagram, Cell 5 for recommended splicing procedures.
- [SSM 47850](/bulletins/10159489.md), 2019-05-07, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER. Some 2013\-2019 vehicles equipped with a EVDC air conditioning \(A/C\) compressor may exhibit poor A/C performance/improper climate function and/or a diagnostic trouble code \(DTC\) P06A0 in the powertrain control module \(PCM\). To support the proper diagnosis of this compressor, the EVDC control valve tester has been developed and is available from Rotunda \(339\-EVDC100\). A tester has been provided to each U.S. dealership free of charge with shipments completed 19\-Apr\-2019 \(reference EFC07013 on FMCDealer.com\). This tester will help reduce the potential for misdiagnosis and unnecessary compressor replacement. Make sure that this tester is used for warranty repairs and document the test results in the Technician Comments field. Refer to the Rotunda catalog for a video and user manual which provide detailed operating instructions.

- [TSB 19\-2026](/bulletins/10156863.md), 2019-04-08, Service bulletin: EQUIPMENT; STRUCTURE. Some 2000 and newer Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles equipped with aluminum body panels may exhibit corrosion concerns appearing as bubbled and/or peeling paint with or without accompanying white dust.
