Service bulletin ASI-32251
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SSM 47886 | 2019-04-03. Service bulletin. Some 2012-2016 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit a battery cable clamp corrosion concern at the positive battery terminal. It is not necessary to replace the complete battery cable harness CC3Z-14300-A for this concern. Positive battery cable clamp BT4Z-14450-AA is available and can be used to replace just the corroded terminal. Do not cut or shorten the battery cable, but instead remove the corroded battery cable clamp and clean the cable end as necessary. Bend the new battery cable clamp as needed and crimp it to the existing battery cable. Make sure to use heat shrink tubing over the battery cable to battery cable clamp connection. Obtain the heat shrink tube locally. |

| SSM 47755 | 2019-03-04. Service bulletin. Some 2018 F-150 and Expedition vehicles may exhibit a battery draw resulting in a discharged battery. An electronic park brake (EPB) switch internal short may cause the anti-lock brake system (ABS) module to wake up resulting in controller area network (CAN) system wake up. If the draw cannot be duplicated with fuse F70 removed, suspect the EPB switch. |
| SSM 46129 | 2017-02-07. Service bulletin. SOME 2013-2016 FUSION/ESCAPE/MKT/FLEX/MKS/TAURUS, 2015-2016 MKZ/MKC/EDGE AND 2016 MKX VEHICLES MAY EXHIBIT VARIOUS RADIO CONCERNS INCLUDING: SPEAKER STATIC WITH KEY-OFF, NO AUDIO AFTER VEHICLE IS FIRST STARTED WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) U0184, NO VOLUME CONTROL, OR A STUCK CD WITH NO SLOT BLOCKAGE. PRIOR TO STARTING NORMAL DIAGNOSIS FOR ANY OF THESE CONDITIONS, VERIFY THE ACM IS AT THE LATEST CALIBRATION USING IDS VERSION 102.03 OR HIGHER. MAKE SURE YOU ARE CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET WHEN ENTERING MODULE PROGRAMMING TO OBTAIN THE LATEST UPDATES. CALIBRATION FILES MAY ALSO BE OBTAINED AT WWW.MOTORCRAFTSERVICE.COM. USE THE APPLICABLE LABOR OPERATION IN SECTION 11 OF THE SLTS MANUAL AND CAUSAL PART 18C869 WHEN CLAIMING THIS REPAIR. |
