DTC C10ACFO \(steering end stops not programmed\) is logged in the power steering control unit, J500 \(44\). The power steering control unit, J500 \(44\), expects to receive a VIN message over the data bus shortly after terminal 15 is turned on. If the VIN message is not received at the expected time, the power steering control unit assumes it has been installed in a new vehicle and discards the programmed end position values.
