IN STATES WHERE HEAVY CONCENTRATIONS OF ROAD SALT ARE USED, IN THE WINTER, THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE STRUT HOUSING CAN DEVELOP CORROSION THAT MAY CAUSE DAMAGE. THIS MAY ALLOW THE HOUSING TO CONTACT THE STEERING COLUMN. THIS WOULD CREATE NOISE AND A DIFFERENCE IN STEERING EFFORT.
