# Service bulletin TSB\-21\-11\-03

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

After a mechatronics, torque converter, or complete gearbox replacement, the clutches must be adapted to the new component. This requires a gradual move of the clutch linings toward the optimal operating points in the most diverse load conditions. As a result, sporadic driving power disruptions lasting for less than a second or reduced shift comfort are possible over the first 500 miles. This is normal, and these issues will decrease over time. The issues can also occur if the adaptation values of the gearbox were deleted.
- [34 13 17 2029069](/bulletins/10210630.md), 2022-05-02, Service bulletin: POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE \(TCM/PCM/TECM\); ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Customer states that the gear display is illuminated in cluster. Vehicle may exhibit a shudder condition on first acceleration from a stop. The following fault entry is logged in the transmission control module \(TCM\), J217 \(address word 02\):19143 P2711 004 \(Unexpected Mechanical Gear Disengagement\)
- [A341317 2029069\-](/bulletins/10121327.md), 2017-10-31, Service bulletin: POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 30 number 12\-14 dated August 6, 2012. Customer states that the gear display is illuminated in cluster. Vehicle may exhibit a shudder condition on first acceleration from a stop. fault entry is logged in the transmission control module \(TCM\). This TSB only applies if entry 19143 P2711 004 is logged and the vehicle has over 18,500 miles on the odometer. If there are other complaints, this TSB does not apply. The TCM recognizes that drag torque on the clutch is too high.
