## Other bulletins for the same vehicles and component

- [PIT5161C](/bulletins/10115137.md), 2017-08-15, Service bulletin: FUEL SYSTEM, OTHER:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY; FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that may have a bump feel or clunk noise at a stop or on launch. Dealer should communicate to the customer this condition is a normal operating characteristic of their vehicle. The bump clunk issue may be due to fuel movement in the fuel tank when not completely full. The condition is eliminated after completely filling the fuel tank.
- [PIP4864P](/bulletins/10115061.md), 2017-08-15, Service bulletin: FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY; FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM. This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that may have "Exhaust Fluid Low", "Exhaust Fluid Empty \- Refill Now", "Exhaust Fluid Range: XXX" or "Service Exhaust Fluid \- See Owners Now" on the Driver Information Center. If the technician is working on 2010 and 2011 model years campaign 11001 has now been released. Other vehicles technician will need to check the Body Control Module and the scan tool to insure the latest calibration are installed in both. Then use the scan tool to check Reductant System Data in the Engine Control Module. Ensure that all three diesel exhaust fluid level sensors are active with the diesel exhaust fluid tank level showing 100%. If the tank level is below 100% add up to 2 gallons of diesel exhaust fluid. After adding the fluid, use a scan tool to reset the reductant fluid tank level. When the reductant level warning shows "none" the diesel exhaust fluid system reset and reprogram is complete.
- [PIT4943D](/bulletins/10114954.md), 2017-08-15, Service bulletin: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE; FUEL SYSTEM, OTHER:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL. This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have a Service Engine Soon Malfunction Indicator Lamp. Technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Code P0442. Technician will need to review Techlink article from May 2013 titled "Using the Evaporative Emissions System Tester" Technician will need to follow these steps to help diagnose the issue. First after the P0442 has been verified do not disturb any of the fuel system components. The technician now can use the scan tool to close the Evaporative Emissions System. If possible change the tank pressure sensor units from inch\_H2O to milimeter\_Hg for better resolution. Now the vehicle can be stared to monitor the tank pressure sensor output value for approximately two minutes. If the tank pressure sensor value does change, pressurize the fuel tank side of the purge solenoid with the GE 41413\-A / J 41413\-A and the necessary adaptors. Now add smoke and allow pressure to stabilize for 2 minutes. If smoke is allowed to pass through the purge solenoid, replace the purge solenoid. If the tank pressure sensor value does not change, then install CH\-48096 adaptor between the purge line from the canister and the purge solenoid. With the Evaporative Emissions System closed, pressurize the system through the CH\-48096 adaptor and allow the system to completely stabilize, by observing the Press / Vac Gauge for a minimum of 5 minutes. Now add smoke to the system with GE 41413\-A / J 41413\-A after system stabilization. Now inspect the purge solenoid, engine side, fuel cap, canister vent solenoid filter and any line quick connects. When the leak is unable to be located, test under a vacuum condition. his type of leak may be detected by using the scan tool Purge/Seal function to create a vacuum in the Evaporative Emissions System and then observe the FTP sensor parameter for vacuum decay.
- [PIP4786A](/bulletins/10114456.md), 2017-08-15, Service bulletin: FUEL SYSTEM, OTHER:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY:PRESSURE RELIEF DEVICES. This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that may have low oil pressure message. Technician may also find a Diagnostic Trouble Code P0521 in the Engine Control Module. Technician should follow all published Service Information diagnosis. When using a scan tool if the oil pressure is low but the oil pressure at the oil filter housing is correct, technician should inspect the Valve Lifter Oil Filter for debris/sludge that could be restricting oil flow to the oil pressure sensor. Technician should remove the Valve Lifter Oil Filter and clean it. If the Valve Lifter Oil Filter cannot be cleaned replace it.
- [PIT5161A](/bulletins/10112571.md), 2017-08-15, Service bulletin: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY.
- [PIP4887B](/bulletins/10112047.md), 2017-08-15, Service bulletin: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM; FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY; FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL. This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have a "Service Exhaust Fluid System" and a "See Owner's Manual Now" message displayed on the Instrument Panel Cluster. Technician may find reductant level sensor Diagnostic Trouble Codes P203D, P21AB, and P21B0 set. Technician will need to follow published Service Information diagnostics for the Diagnostic Trouble Codes that are set. If no wiring concerns are found replace the Diesel Exhaust Fluid tank assembly.
- [PIT5208A](/bulletins/10112023.md), 2017-08-15, Service bulletin: FUEL SYSTEM, OTHER:STORAGE:FUEL GAUGE SYSTEM; FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY.
