CUMMINS: BREATHER TUBES FREEZING IN STEP VAN APPLICATIONS. STEP VANS MANUFACTURED BY FREIGHTLINER THAT ARE SUSCEPTIBLE TO WATER FREEZING IN THE BREATHER TUBE. THIS FREEZING CAN CAUSE MULTIPLE COUNTS OF FAULT CODES 555 AND 556 AND LEAD TO PROGRESSIVE DAMAGE OF THE TURBOCHARGER. CHECK FOR ICE IN THE BREATHER TUBE AT THE CONNECTION TO THE TURBOCHARGER INLET.
