Service bulletin TSB-57-07-09
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| A571392 2022032- | 2017-12-05. Service bulletin. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 57 number 11-49 dated August 8, 2011. The customer inquires about the operation of the vehicle locking, and may suggest that the vehicle "locked itself". The lock command history is stored in the convenience system control module (J393). |

| A571385 2017082- | 2017-11-17. Service bulletin. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 57 number 13-82 dated February 5, 2013. Central locking via remote control does not work either sporadically or permanently. The locks can still be operated manually. Missing synchronization between the remote control key and vehicle because the battery has been disconnected or the battery of the remote control has been replaced. If other senders operate in the same frequency range (mobile phones, TV stations, wireless headphones, baby monitors, other vehicle remote controls, etc.), the remote control key may have been temporarily switched off because a clear identification of the remote control key is not possible. This is necessary to prevent an unintentional unlocking of the vehicle by other unrelated senders. |
