Service bulletin TSB-809-1
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
PETERBILT: THE OIL SLINGER THREADS ON THE INPUT SHAFT ARE MACHINED WITH AN INCORRECT THREAD DIRECTION (RIGHT HAND INSTEAD OF LEFT HAND). THE ISSUE CAUSES A VERY SMALL, SLOW, FLUID LEAK ABOUT THE LOCATION OF THE INPUT SHAFT AND THE INTERFACE TO THE TRANSMISSION. THE LEAK DOES NOT CAUSE A CONCERN FOR LOW LUBE TYPE FAILURES OR SECONDARY OIL CONTAMINATION TYPE DAMAGE. NO MODEL OR MODEL YEARS LISTED. *PE
