GENERAL MOTORS: TO PROVIDE A SERVICE PROCEDURE TO REPROGRAM THE IP CLUSTER ON CERTAIN G8 AND EXPORT CAPRICE AND LUMINA VEHICLES. DURING VEHICLE SERVICE, IF THE BATTERY IS DISCONNECTED AND THE AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC MODULE IS SUBSEQUENTLY DISCONNECTED, AND THEN THE BATTERY RECONNECTED WITHOUT RECONNECTING THE AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC MODULE, THE SUPPLEMENTAL INFLATABLE RESTRAINTS \(SIR\) MAY BE DISABLED. \*PE
