Service bulletin TB-2009-016
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
YAMAHA MOTORCYCLE: THROTTLE BODY SYNCHRONIZATION AND IDLE ADJUSTMENT ARE RECOMMENDED AT THE 6OO MILE SERVICE. BECAUSE THE AMOUNT OF VACUUM HAS A SPECIFICATION THAT NEEDS TO BE SYNCHRONIZED, IT IS CRITICAL THAT THE IDLE BE ADJUSTED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THROTTLE BODY SYNCHRONIZATION. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN AN ERRATIC OR NO IDLE CONDITION. NO MODEL YEARS LISTED. *PE
