A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## Other bulletins for the same vehicles and component

- [Campaign Circula](/bulletins/10124024.md), 2017-11-17, Service bulletin: WHEELS:LUGS/NUTS/BOLTS/STUDS; WHEELS. The owner's manual installed into affected vehicles during production contains incorrect wheel bolt tightening torque values. However, all dealer service documentation was correctly published. Any wheel service performed at an authorized Audi dealer would have been performed to the correct tightening torque specifications.
- [A441346 2010334\-](/bulletins/10121408.md), 2017-10-31, Service bulletin: WHEELS:LUGS/NUTS/BOLTS/STUDS; WHEELS. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 44 number 12\-32 dated August 2, 2012. Wheel bolt requires torque adjustment. Torque sticks, torque extension bars, and impact guns/wrenches are not approved by Audi of America, Inc., and should not be used to apply torque to wheel bolts. Always use a calibrated torque wrench to attain the correct wheel bolt torque and follow the proper wheel tightening procedure as outlined in Elsa. Proper use of a calibrated torque wrench ensures that all wheel bolts are tightened equally and reduces the chances of repeat repairs. Using methods other than a calibrated torque wrench to attain correct wheel bolt torque may lead to problems.
